Rafting on the Mendoza river, riding out from a finca, walking in Aconcagua Park and climbing to Plaza Francia are all sold under the same word, and they are not comparable. What actually decides whether a day suits you here is altitude: the valley sits at around eight hundred metres and the park routes work between two and four thousand.
Rafting on the Mendoza river, cycling between bodegas, riding out from a finca in the foothills. None of it needs acclimatisation and all of it can go on the first day.
Straight off the plane
The Alta Montaña route and the day walks in Aconcagua Park sit high enough that the first hour feels different. Most people are fine; the sensible itineraries still put it on day two or three.
A day or two in first
The trek to Plaza Francia sleeps up there, which is a different proposition from visiting for the day. It needs the days before it to have been spent going gradually higher rather than in the vineyards.

Every quote we send lists this in writing, trip by trip. As a rule, this is how a Mendoza package is built.
Hotels selected and checked by our team; private transfers between airports, hotels and excursions; excursions with English-speaking local guides; tasting fees at the wineries listed in your itinerary, and park entrance fees where the route includes them; daily breakfast and the meals marked day by day; a local WhatsApp support line for the whole trip.
International flights to and from Argentina; travel insurance; meals not marked in the itinerary; personal expenses and gratuities; optional activities, which we price in writing beforehand. The Buenos Aires to Mendoza flight is quoted separately or included depending on the package, and your quote states which, with the amount, so the total is clear before you book.
The high Andes pass and the Aconcagua road close with snow in winter and after storms. When that happens we bring your Uco Valley or Luján de Cuyo day forward and keep the mountain for the next clear morning. Wherever the schedule allows, we rebook the highlight inside your trip at no extra cost.
