Our founder, Nicolas Iemolo, began studying Tourism at CEPEC in Buenos Aires in 2003, and a year later he was already selling trips at a local travel company. Four years of listening to travellers taught him the first lesson that still shapes Argentina Pura: people do not buy destinations, they buy answers to the questions that worry them.
In 2008 Nicolas moved to Mendoza to work in tourism and hospitality at Achaval Ferrer, one of Argentina's reference wineries. Receiving guests from all over the world for five years turned a salesman into a host. In 2009, while still at the winery, he co-founded SAK Wine & Travel, a receptive agency specialized in wine tourism that still operates in Mendoza today.
After 18 years in the industry, Nicolas founded Argentina Pura with a simple idea: instead of selling packages, design each journey around a theme the traveller chooses. Wine, mountains, wildlife, food, or all of them at once. Argentina Pura SL was established as a licensed travel agency in Spain, so every trip is protected under European consumer law.
We remain deliberately small: a founder who still spends part of every year on the road checking hotels, restaurants, and connections; a content team that researches and writes our guides; and an operations team in Argentina that runs the trips on the ground. You will always know who is taking care of you, by name.

From first email to airport goodbye, the same small team is assigned to your trip, and you know each of them by name. No call centers, no ticket numbers.
Hotels, wineries, and connections we recommend have been checked by our own team on the ground, season after season.
If a season, route, or lodge is not right for you, we say so. A good trip starts with saying no to the wrong options.
A tailor-made trip is only as good as the people who deliver it on the ground. We work with a short list of providers in each region, built over 20 years in the industry, and we keep it short on purpose.
Every hotel, lodge, and estancia on our list has been checked in person by our team, and gets re-checked when ownership or management changes.
In Mendoza and Salta we work directly with the wineries, from family projects to reference houses, so tastings and lunches are arranged with the people who make the wine.
Guides and drivers are licensed professionals from each region, chosen for how they host, not just what they know. Many have worked with us for years.
No provider pays to be on our list, and whoever stops meeting the standard leaves it. Our only commission is your trip going well.
