Mendoza does not really sell trekking on its own, and it does not need to: the Andes begin where the vineyards stop, so every itinerary uses both. What separates these four is how much of the trip you spend on foot in Aconcagua Provincial Park, and whether you sleep up there.
A moderate route inside Aconcagua Park, reached on the high road out of the city past Cacheuta, Potrerillos and Uspallata. You leave early, walk through the middle of the day, eat in Uspallata and are back among the vineyards by evening.
Out and back in a day
The classic approach to the south face of Aconcagua, the highest mountain outside Asia. Two days on foot with a night at altitude, and the only itinerary here where the walking is the point rather than the counterweight to the wine.
A night up there
Aconcagua Park keeps its trekking season to the southern summer, and outside it the high routes are closed or unreliable. Those are also the hottest months down in the valley, which is part of why the mountain gets used at all.
When the park is open
The wine side of the same region is at Mendoza wine tours, the three-day version at 3 day Mendoza trips, and everything else at Mendoza tours.

Every quote we send lists this in writing, trip by trip. As a rule, this is how a Mendoza package is built.
Hotels selected and checked by our team; private transfers between airports, hotels and excursions; excursions with English-speaking local guides; tasting fees at the wineries listed in your itinerary, and park entrance fees where the route includes them; daily breakfast and the meals marked day by day; a local WhatsApp support line for the whole trip.
International flights to and from Argentina; travel insurance; meals not marked in the itinerary; personal expenses and gratuities; optional activities, which we price in writing beforehand. The Buenos Aires to Mendoza flight is quoted separately or included depending on the package, and your quote states which, with the amount, so the total is clear before you book.
The high Andes pass and the Aconcagua road close with snow in winter and after storms. When that happens we bring your Uco Valley or Luján de Cuyo day forward and keep the mountain for the next clear morning. Wherever the schedule allows, we rebook the highlight inside your trip at no extra cost.
