Prices are per person, from, for the 2026 to 2027 season, and change with season and hotel category. Every itinerary is tailor-made: the pace shown is the standard version, and every Moderate activity has an Easy alternative you can choose on the day.
Every Patagonia itinerary we quote carries a rating. Here is exactly what each one asks of you, so you can judge for yourself instead of guessing.
Under 3 km of walking per day, on flat ground or boardwalks, with handrails and benches along the route and a vehicle waiting nearby at all times. No stairs without an alternative. Typical days: the Perito Moreno walkways, the Circuito Chico in Bariloche, the Beagle Channel navigation.
Three to six kilometres per day, with gentle slopes or uneven gravel paths. One main activity per day, rather than two stacked back to back. Typical days: Chorrillo del Salto in El Chaltén, the coastal path in Tierra del Fuego National Park.
Every Moderate activity has a lower-intensity version of the same highlight. The glacier by boat instead of an ice trek; Fitz Roy from the town viewpoint instead of Laguna de los Tres. You decide on the day: tell your guide the evening before and the plan adapts, with no penalty and no rebooking.
Patagonia is seasonal in a way the rest of Argentina is not: several routes simply close in winter. This is the summary we use when we plan a senior itinerary, and it is usually the first thing we lock in.
November to March brings mild days (10 to 20 °C) and long daylight, ideal for the glacier boardwalks at a calm pace. October and April are quieter and cheaper. The walkways are open year-round and have handrails throughout.
December to February is the reliable window; most services close from May to September. The flat walk to Chorrillo del Salto and the town viewpoints give you the Fitz Roy skyline without the climb to Laguna de los Tres.
November to March for the channel navigation and Tierra del Fuego National Park. June to August is winter season, with snow and short days, pleasant if you want the town rather than the trails.
The gentlest region in Patagonia, and the only one that works all year. Cerro Campanario is reached by chairlift and the Circuito Chico is a driving route with stops: you choose how much you walk.

Wherever the schedule allows, we rebook the highlight inside your trip at no extra cost.

No payment is asked for a trip that has not been checked first. This is what you commit to at each point and what you get back.
Before asking for a deposit we confirm the hotels and the fixed-time excursions on your actual dates, or on the day either side. In Patagonia this means the glacier boat, the Beagle Channel catamaran and the hotels with lifts in El Calafate and Ushuaia, which are the first things to sell out between November and March. If something is not available, you hear it now, not after paying.
The booking becomes definite with a deposit of 50% of the total, and the balance is due 45 days before departure. Both figures are in your written quote. The booking terms set out in writing what happens if you need to change or cancel, including the Flex and Super Flex options, so you can read them before you pay rather than after.
Once the deposit is in, you receive the hotel and excursion vouchers, with the name and phone number of the person in Argentina who will answer during your trip.
One contact, with a name, on WhatsApp and by phone for the whole trip. Your guides speak English, and if you would rather be guided in another language, tell us when we build the route and we plan it in. If a flight runs late or the wind closes a trail, the plan moves before you have to ask.
