Prices are per person, from, for the 2026 to 2027 season. Per day is a comparison aid, not how the trip is billed. Every itinerary is tailor-made and quoted individually.
Most of Patagonia has a season. Perito Moreno has opening hours, and that changes what El Calafate is for.
The park runs every day of the year: 8 am to 8 pm from September to April, 9 am to 6 pm in winter. Heavy snow can shut the access road for a day in June or July, and that is the only interruption.
The one Patagonian icon with no closed season
Five kilometres of steel walkways with handrails and lifts, facing the ice front. No trekking is required to see the glacier calve, which is why this is the gateway we send travellers with limited mobility to.

This is the page where the calendar matters least. The glacier is open every month; what changes is the daylight, the price and how many people share the walkways with you.
Up to sixteen hours of light and around 20 °C in the afternoon. It is also the peak: the highest prices of the year and the busiest balconies.
Book the hotel months ahead
The same weather most days, eleven or twelve hours of light, noticeably fewer people and lower prices. This is when we book most of our own trips.

Shorter hours, around six hours of light, and the chance of a day when snow closes the access road. In exchange, the glacier almost to yourself.
Bring the layers, keep the plans loose
No month is off: the darker cells are the winter opening hours, not a closure. Prices in the shoulder months run well below the November to February peak.

Hotels selected and checked by our team; private transfers between airports, hotels and excursions; excursions with English-speaking local guides; entrance fees to Los Glaciares and Tierra del Fuego national parks; daily breakfast and the meals marked day by day; a local WhatsApp support line for the whole trip.
International flights to and from Argentina; travel insurance; meals not marked in the itinerary; personal expenses and gratuities; optional activities, which we price in writing beforehand. Domestic flights inside Patagonia are quoted separately or included depending on the package, and your quote states which, with the amount, so the total is clear before you book.
Patagonian wind changes plans, and we plan for it. Every key day has a same-region backup: if the wind closes the glacier boat, you see Perito Moreno from the walkways instead; if the Fitz Roy viewpoint is in cloud, we swap days inside your itinerary.
