Classic Calafate – 4 Day Trip

Today, our guide will meet you and drive you to Los Glaciares National Park and the Perito Moreno Glacier. During the day, you'll enjoy the most impressive views of the Glacier from different spots while walking along the pathways of La Costa, El Bosque, El Inferior, and El Medio. We recommend as an option to make a short navigation on Lake Argentino and if you are an active traveler, change this excursion for a trekking on the Glacier. Transferred to the airport at the end of the tour.

Overnight in El Calafate: La Estepa, Kau Yatun, Xelena.

Departure from El Calafate to La Leona Rest Stop (historical site), where a 15-minute stop is made before continuing the journey until reaching the foothills of Cerro Los Hornos.

Upon arriving at the forest, we begin a 3-hour fossil exploration hike, including lunchtime. Visitors will have the opportunity to see a large quantity of petrified logs and fossil remains of various types of dinosaurs. The site is sheltered from the wind, very dry, and overall, the weather conditions are very pleasant.

At the end of the hike, we start the return journey to Calafate along the same path. Ideal for those who enjoy outdoor activities, adventure, and discovering new places. What to bring? Comfortable footwear, jacket or windbreaker, warm clothing, hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses.
