Prices are per person, from, for the 2026 to 2027 season. Per day is a comparison aid, not how the trip is billed. Every itinerary is tailor-made and quoted individually.
The short version puts crampons on you and takes you across the lower ice for about an hour, and almost anybody can do it. The long version walks for several hours into the middle of the glacier, past the crevasses and the blue pools, and it has fitness and age limits. Knowing which of the two you want before booking is what makes the day.
Boat across the channel, crampons fitted on the shore, a guided loop over the lower ice and a whisky with glacier ice at the end. No experience needed and it still counts as standing on a glacier.
Almost anyone can do it
Deeper into the ice field, where the crevasses and the meltwater pools are. It requires reasonable fitness and there is an upper age limit that operators enforce strictly, so it needs checking before it goes into the itinerary.
Check the limits first
The walkway system faces the front wall from a few hundred metres away, and it is where you actually see the calving. Many people who do both say the balconies were the better hour. Give them a morning rather than a stop.

The glacier itself is at Perito Moreno glacier, the town at El Calafate tours, and the walking further north at El Chaltén hiking.

Domestic flights inside Patagonia are quoted separately or included depending on the package, and your quote states which, with the amount, so the total is clear before you book.

Every key day has a same-region backup: if the wind closes the glacier boat, you see Perito Moreno from the walkways instead; if the Fitz Roy viewpoint is in cloud, we swap days inside your itinerary. Wherever the schedule allows, we rebook the highlight inside your trip at no extra cost.
