Prices are per person, from, for the 2026 to 2027 season. Per day is a comparison aid, not how the trip is billed. Every itinerary is tailor-made and quoted individually.
Perito Moreno is 2.100 km from the capital. That distance is the whole planning problem, and it has a simple answer.
Buenos Aires to El Calafate is a direct flight of about 3 h 15 min from Aeroparque, and the airport is 20 km from town. There is no overland option worth the time: the bus is roughly 40 hours.
Book the morning flight if there is one
Two days works only if both flights are perfectly timed, and Patagonian weather does not respect timetables. Three days gives the glacier one clean full day and a spare morning.
What we recommend as the floor
The fourth day is the navigation to the Upsala and Spegazzini fronts, which are only reachable by boat. From five days El Chalten enters, three hours up the road.
The glacier is one day; the region is not
