There’s a moment, somewhere on Ruta 3 with the Beagle Channel on your left and the Andes fading behind you, when you realise you’ve ridden further south than almost anyone on earth. That’s what a motorcycle tour in Ushuaia feels like — not a bucket-list tick, but a proper expedition at the end of the world.
At Argentina Pura, we design every Ushuaia motorcycle tour from scratch. No fixed groups, no rigid itineraries, no compromises. We match the route, the bikes and the pace to the rider you are — whether that’s a long-weekender circling Tierra del Fuego or a 17-day odyssey that starts in Buenos Aires and ends at the Lapataia Bay sign.
Our local guides have ridden these roads in every season. They know where the gravel loosens on Paso Garibaldi, which estancia opens its doors for lunch on Ruta 3, and why leaving at dawn from Ushuaia makes the whole difference. That local knowledge is what separates a tour you remember from one you forget.
What we run in Ushuaia, sorted by price. We do not rent motorcycles here; these are the itineraries riders use for the days off the bike.

Prices are per person, from, for the 2026 to 2027 season. Per day is a comparison aid, not how the trip is billed. Every itinerary is tailor-made and quoted individually.
There is no road from mainland Argentina to Tierra del Fuego that stays in Argentina. You cross into Chile, take the ferry over the Strait of Magellan and cross back, which means two border posts in each direction and paperwork that a hired machine often does not have. Riders who plan for that arrive relaxed; the ones who do not lose a day.
The route leaves Argentina in Santa Cruz, crosses Chilean Patagonia, takes the ferry over the strait and re enters Argentina north of Río Grande. Four control posts in all, and the ferry runs to weather rather than to a timetable.
Build in a spare day
A bike registered to someone else, or hired, needs written authorisation to leave the country, and the Chilean posts do check. It is straightforward to obtain and impossible to improvise at the border.
Sort it before you leave
The sign that marks the end of Ruta 3 is in Tierra del Fuego National Park, half an hour past Ushuaia. That is the photograph everyone rides down for, and it is worth arriving with a day spare to get it in decent light.
Half an hour past town
The roads on the island are at Ushuaia road trips, the riding further north at Patagonia motorcycle tours, and the country-wide picture at Argentina motorcycle tours.

Every quote we send lists this in writing, trip by trip. As a rule, this is how an Ushuaia package is built.
Hotels selected and checked by our team; private transfers between airports, hotels and excursions; excursions with English-speaking local guides; entrance fees to Tierra del Fuego National Park; daily breakfast and the meals marked day by day; a local WhatsApp support line for the whole trip.
International flights to and from Argentina; travel insurance; meals not marked in the itinerary; personal expenses and gratuities; optional activities, which we price in writing beforehand. The Buenos Aires to Ushuaia flight is quoted separately or included depending on the package, and your quote states which, with the amount, so the total is clear before you book.
Ushuaia weather turns quickly, and the Beagle Channel sailings depend on it. If the port holds a departure, we move the sailing to the next clear slot inside your stay and bring the Tierra del Fuego park day or the Martial Glacier walk forward instead. Wherever the schedule allows, we rebook the highlight inside your trip at no extra cost.
