Ushuaia has two useful roads out of it and they go opposite ways: east along the Beagle to Harberton, north over Paso Garibaldi to the lakes. A three-day trip picks one. A four or five day trip does both, plus the park and the channel, and stops feeling like a stopover on the way to somewhere else.
Two days for the classics and two for one direction out of town, with a margin for the weather that closes the boat. That is a complete visit rather than a sampled one.

The fifth day is usually the one people say they would have missed most: the lakes over the pass, or a second morning on the water, or simply not driving anywhere. In a town this small that is a real option.
The day you keep
Four seasons in an afternoon is a local joke that happens to be true, and the channel navigation is the first thing cancelled. Longer stays absorb that; short ones lose the boat entirely.

Ushuaia weather turns quickly, and the Beagle Channel sailings depend on it. If the port holds a departure, we move the sailing to the next clear slot inside your stay and bring the Tierra del Fuego park day or the Martial Glacier walk forward instead. Wherever the schedule allows, we rebook the highlight inside your trip at no extra cost.
