Prices are per person, from, for the 2026 to 2027 season. Per day is a comparison aid, not how the trip is billed. Every itinerary is tailor-made and quoted individually.
The two things people come north for sit in opposite directions from the city. Cafayate and the Quebrada de las Conchas are three hours south; Purmamarca and the Quebrada de Humahuaca are three hours north, in the next province. Each is a full day out and back, which is why the honest minimum here is four days rather than three.
Three hours down Ruta 68 through the Quebrada de las Conchas, with the rock formations along the way and the vineyards at the end. It works as a long day trip and is much better as an overnight.
Wine and red rock
Into Jujuy for the seven coloured hill, the Salinas Grandes salt flat and the villages up the Quebrada. It is higher, it is a different province and it is the one that appears on the postcards.
Colour and altitude
Arrival, one full day out and a departure. That is a real trip and it is worth doing, but it means choosing between the wine and the colour rather than seeing both.

International flights to and from Argentina; travel insurance; meals not marked in the itinerary; personal expenses and gratuities; optional activities, which we price in writing beforehand. The Buenos Aires to Salta or Jujuy flight is quoted separately or included depending on the package, and your quote states which, with the amount, so the total is clear before you book.
Summer rain can cut the gravel roads towards Cafayate or Iruya for a few hours. Our drivers check each stretch with the provincial road service every morning, and when one is closed we run the loop the other way round or move that leg a day. Wherever the schedule allows, we rebook the highlight inside your trip at no extra cost.
