Itinerary

<span>Day 1</span>Welcome to Buenos Aires!

Upon your arrival at Ezeiza International Airport, our Argentina Pura guide will be waiting for you with a sign under your name to transfer you to the selected hotel (Driver and guide - private service).

Overnight in Buenos Aires: Kenton Palace, Legado Mítico Hotel, Loi Suites Recoleta (or similar).

<span>Day 2</span>Buenos Aires: City Tour & Tango Night (Half Day)

In five fun-filled and exciting hours (including pick-up and drop-off times) our team of reliable and professional drivers and very informative, knowledgeable, and helpful tour guides with outstanding English skills will tour around Buenos Aires city, bringing it to life with their live commentary full of background information, facts and insights that travelers will not be able to find in any book or travel guide.

This tour offers the perfect balance between driving and light walking, which will allow them to get a great overview of the city’s most iconic areas and districts in just half of a day, and at the same time have the possibility to get off the vehicle, and walk around and have a deeper understanding of the key locations within Buenos Aires: Recoleta, Palermo Chico, Plaza de Mayo, La Boca neighborhood, Puerto Maderoand many other attractions.

Night program: Our large Aljibe Hall is a former convent from the beginning of the 20th century that has been completely restored. With its style and decoration, you will experience a trip back in time to the beginning of Buenos Aires. We provide a Tango and Folklore show: consisting of a singer, a quartet led by the maestro “Carlos Buono”, 3 pairs of dancers, a malambo show with a demonstration of bowling, poncho and drums.

<span>Day 3</span>Buenos Aires – El Calafate

At the time of departure, according to your air itinerary, we will pick you up at the hotel to take you to Jorge Newbery Airport in the City of Buenos Aires to take your next flight (Private service - driver and guide).

At the time of arrival our guide will be waiting to take you from Calafate Airport to the hotel (Driver and guide).

Overnight in El Calafate: Hostería La Estepa, Kau Yatun hotel, Xelena hotel (or similar).

<span>Day 4</span>El Calafate: Perito Moreno Glacier (Full Day)

We left in the morning from the city of El Calafate and after a journey of 80 km we arrived at the footbridge sector in front of the Perito Moreno glacier.

The walkways have balconies at different levels and angles connected by paths and staircases which can be covered in their entirety during the excursion and thus be able to appreciate this imposing glacier from different points.

This day, you will also enjoy a 1-hour navigation through the Rich Arm of Lake Argentino, where you approach about 150 meters from the southern wall of the glacier.

Overnight in El Calafate.

<span>Day 5</span>El Calafate – El Chaltén

We start from El Calafate to the Parador La Leona (historic site), where we stop for 15 minutes and continue our journey until we reach the slope of Cerro Los Hornos.

When we arrived in the forest, we began a 3-hour fossil exploration walk, including lunch time. The visitor will be able to see a large number of petrified trunks and fossil remains of different types of dinosaurs.

The site is sheltered from the wind, is very dry and the weather conditions are generally very pleasant. At the end of the walk, we start our way to El Chaltén. It is an ideal excursion for people who like outdoor activities, adventure and discovering new places.

Overnight in El Chaltén: Poincenot, Hostería Senderos, Destino Sur Hotel (or similar).

<span>Day 6</span>El Chaltén: Laguna de Los Tres (Full Day)

We left early in the morning from El Calafate to a small mountain town, famous for being the trekking capital of Argentina. We will drive from El Chaltén to the Poicenot camp (4 hours), and continue crossing the White River.

From here on, the path continues with an upward slope of approximately 400 meters of unevenness to the Laguna de los Tres. The path ends on the old slope of the glacial moraine, with an extraordinary view of the lake and glacier De Los Tres.

This is the closest view of the granite wall of Mount Fitz Roy and its peripheral spires. Going down the moraine, you can continue along a path that surrounds the lagoon to its mouth, where you can see the desolate Sucia lagoon and its hanging glaciers. At the end of the day we returned to El Calafate.

<span>Day 7</span>El Chaltén: Laguna Torre (Full Day)

Embark on a fascinating journey through the Fitz Roy River valley, following its course until it flows into the majestic Torre Lagoon, all in the heart of the National Park.

Along this route, the route presents us with natural viewpoints that frame the beauty of Co. Alone, the Adela Cordon and the emblematic Torre Hill. With every step, the Grande and Torre glaciers reveal themselves before our eyes, immersing us in a dreamlike frozen landscape.

As we move forward, the path invites us to take an additional stretch along the river, culminating in the Torre Lagoon. From this point, you will find yourself in front of an unparalleled spectacle: the Torre glacier merging with the Grande glacier, the Adela mountain range, the Torre y Mocho hill, the imposing Egger tower and the Standhardt, Bifida and Four Fingers spires, all on a single horizon. An experience that celebrates the grandeur of Patagonian nature!

Overnight in El Chaltén.

<span>Day 8</span>El Chaltén – El Calafate - Bariloche

We will pick you up at the selected hotel in El Chaltén and take you to El Calafate Airport (Driver only - private service). Upon arrival at the local Bariloche airport, your local guide will be waiting for you to accompany you to the selected hotel located between Km3 and Km12 (Private service - driver and guide).

Night program: Away from the noise of the city, Lucas will be waiting you on its family’s farm located on the remote San Pedro Península, to participate of his traditional “cocina de fuegos”. With a good wine on hands you will taste fresh products like patagonian trout with vegetables and other argentinian meats. All of them will be roasted on his simple and rustic way of cooking in which the fire and the cast iron plate will give to the food its particular character. Even the dessert will participate of this simple combination of elements. The result will be an authentic experience of fire and flavours.

Overnight in Bariloche: Kenton Palace Bariloche, Cacique Inacayal hotel (or similar).

<span>Day 9</span>Bariloche: History & Nature (Half Day)

This excursion goes along the most classic circuit of San Carlos de Bariloche in an active and funny way. While visiting stunning viewpoints of the area, such as Campanario Hill and Llao-Llao Hotel, the guide will explain how this little mountain village has get to be one of the most attractive tourist towns in Patagonia.

We ́ll enjoy the beauty of Moreno and Nahuel Huapi lakes, as well as Lopez and Capilla mountains. Continued, we ́ll go for a nature oriented walk through the Llao-llao Nature Park to discover an impressive forest of Arrayanes trees.

The tour finish with a Beer Tasting in at Gilbert Microbrewery (see Gilbert at Chapter 1 of Magic Patagonia on Netflix).

<span>Day 10</span>Bariloche: Enchanted Valley

Valle Encantado has an outstanding landscape that combines amazing rock formations with an impressive blue river. 

We ́ll drive 80 kilometers towards NE direction and cross Limay River on boat, so as to start exploring the Enchanted Valley, walking among big walls and volcanic rock caves, enjoying beautiful views, hidden on this secret corner of Patagonia.

Lunch takes place surrounded by this stunning landscape, perfect to relax, breath and contemplate the nature of Patagonia. This excursion it ́s also advisable in the afternoon departing at 3:00 PM.

<span>Day 11</span>Bariloche – Mendoza

At a certain time, we will pick you up at the selected hotel and take you to the local airport of Bariloche (Private car service - driver only). We will be waiting for you at the Mendoza Airport to take you to the hotel in Chacras de Coria. (Driver and guide).

Overnight in Mendoza: Lares de Chacras hotel, Finca Adalgisa (or similar).

<span>Day 12</span>Mendoza: Biking Tour in Chacras de Coria

Visiting two wineries in Chacras de Coria by bike offers a pleasant experience in Mendoza. This sustainable transport allows you to explore old country houses and traditional groves, witnessing the fusion of vineyards and residential areas for a unique view.

The tour begins with an introduction to safety by the guide, followed by the distribution of helmets and bicycles. Cycling at your own pace, you'll spend almost three hours exploring the rural landscapes of Chacras de Coria and Vistalba, learning about irrigation systems and local customs.

You will visit two wineries, each of which will show their unique winemaking process. In the end, you'll learn about wine production methods, which will foster a passion for Mendoza.

<span>Day 13</span>Mendoza: Uco Valley (Full Day)

Get to know the Uco Valley with this excursion and discover the most prestigious terroir in Argentina. Made up of the departments of Tupungato, Tunuyán and San Carlos, Uco is a valley of more than 17,000 km2 and is located on the north side of Mendoza. The daily temperature range is about 15° C, which favors a very good production of color and tannin in the grapes and makes it possible to obtain wines intended for prolonged aging.

Its high-altitude wines stand out for their intense color and fragrance, and invite you to taste a great glass surrounded by unforgettable landscapes of vineyards and mountains.

Under the direction of specialized guides, we will visit three wineries with outstanding history and impressive architecture. Touring the facilities of the first wineries, we will be surprised to hear the winemaking process and the step by step to tasting a great glass.

The selection of wineries is specially designed so that you can learn about different forms of production and wine lines. To complete this experience in Valle de Uco, we will visit the third winery to enjoy a step-by-step lunch paired with the best wines in the region, where the Cordón del Plata will be a unique postcard that will be engraved in your memories.

<span>Day 14</span>Mendoza – Santiago de Chile

At the appropriate time we will pick you up at the selected hotel to take you to Mendoza airport (driver and guide) for your international flight.

<span>Day 15</span>antiago de Chile: Discovering this amazing city

On this visit, you will get to know the main tourist attractions in Santiago, walking both through interesting historic buildings and through the favorite places of the locals to spend their free time.

We will start from your hotel to visit different places of interest in Santiago, observing the contrasts between the capital's historic center and the modern buildings of the Eastern sector, while also discovering the favorite places of tourists and locals.

We will start on the main street in the city center, Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins Avenue (better known as Alameda) and there we will visit the Presidential Palace of La Moneda, a neoclassical building that houses an important part of Chilean history.

We will take a panoramic view of the central pedestrian promenades and we will pass through Plaza de Armas, a strategic place from which the first routes of the city were made. Around it we can see several historic buildings: the Cathedral Church, the Central Post Office and the Municipality of Santiago.

We will climb the Santa Lucía Hill, a beautiful and important architectural and historical site that served as a strategic point for the founding of the city (and which is frequently visited by the people of Santiago) and then we will go to other places where locals spend their free time: the Forest Park, the Museum of Fine Arts, and the Lastarria Neighborhood.

We will cross the Mapocho River to reach the Bellavista neighborhood, which is home to a strong cultural and artistic activity, as well as being one of the favorites for nightlife in the capital.

Finally, we will get to know the new city center by visiting Providencia and the communes of Las Condes and Vitacura, visiting the Bicentennial Park, one of the city's new iconic parks. Later, after discovering the Eastern area of Santiago, protagonists of growth and modernity, we will begin our return to the hotel.

<span>Day 16</span>Santiago de Chile:  Maipo Vineyards (Half Day)

In this experience we will visit the outstanding Concha y Toro Vineyard, getting to know its plantations and traditional wineries and enjoying a tasting of their excellent creations.

We will start our experience from your hotel to get to know one of the most renowned vineyards in the country and learn more about the process of their wines, in addition to tasting their exquisite creations.

We will head to Cajón del Maipo, an area of great beauty that has become one of the main natural attractions in the central area for both tourists and locals, and we will arrive at Viña Concha y Toro. There we will visit the private park and its plantations, also touring the traditional wineries and then enjoying a tasting, obtaining the cup used as a souvenir of this experience. We will have time to buy wines at the vineyard store, and after that we will return to the hotel in Santiago.

<span>Day 17</span>Good bye Santiago de Chile!

At the right time, we will pick you up and transfer you to Santiago International Airport for your international flight. (Driver only, private service).
