On this visit, you will get to know the main tourist attractions in Santiago, walking both through interesting historic buildings and through the favorite places of the locals to spend their free time.
We will start from your hotel to visit different places of interest in Santiago, observing the contrasts between the capital's historic center and the modern buildings of the Eastern sector, while also discovering the favorite places of tourists and locals.
We will start on the main street in the city center, Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins Avenue (better known as Alameda) and there we will visit the Presidential Palace of La Moneda, a neoclassical building that houses an important part of Chilean history.
We will take a panoramic view of the central pedestrian promenades and we will pass through Plaza de Armas, a strategic place from which the first routes of the city were made. Around it we can see several historic buildings: the Cathedral Church, the Central Post Office and the Municipality of Santiago.
We will climb the Santa Lucía Hill, a beautiful and important architectural and historical site that served as a strategic point for the founding of the city (and which is frequently visited by the people of Santiago) and then we will go to other places where locals spend their free time: the Forest Park, the Museum of Fine Arts, and the Lastarria Neighborhood.
We will cross the Mapocho River to reach the Bellavista neighborhood, which is home to a strong cultural and artistic activity, as well as being one of the favorites for nightlife in the capital.
Finally, we will get to know the new city center by visiting Providencia and the communes of Las Condes and Vitacura, visiting the Bicentennial Park, one of the city's new iconic parks. Later, after discovering the Eastern area of Santiago, protagonists of growth and modernity, we will begin our return to the hotel.
