At Iguazu, luxury buys the hour

The falls are a public park with fixed opening times and a million and a half visitors a year. Everything the top tier changes here comes down to when you are standing at the railing.

The hour

Before the coaches

The park opens at eight and the day groups reach the Devil`s Throat around eleven. A private guide has you on the walkways in that first window, which is a different place entirely.

The single biggest difference here

The bed

Inside the park or in the forest

There is one hotel inside the Argentine park and a handful of lodges in the Misiones jungle. Staying at either means being at the falls before and after the gates open to everyone else.

Book these months ahead

The guide

A naturalist, not a marshal

The difference between being walked around a circuit and having somebody point out the swifts nesting behind the water. Iguazu rewards that more than most places, because most of what lives here is not obvious.

Where the day stops being a queue

The rest of the falls are at Iguazu Falls tours, the routes from the capital at Iguazu from Buenos Aires, and the country-wide top tier at Argentina luxury tours.

Luxury Hoilday in Iguazu Falls FAQ's

Guided tours usually include visits to key viewpoints on both the Argentine and Brazilian sides of the falls, informative talks about the falls' natural history and ecology, and opportunities to see local wildlife. Some tours also include boat trips or jungle walks.

The duration varies, ranging from half-day to full-day tours. Full-day tours are more comprehensive, often covering multiple trails and viewpoints, while half-day tours focus on the main highlights.

Yes, Iguazu Falls guided tours are offered in various languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, and sometimes others. It's advisable to confirm the language options when booking your tour.

It's recommended to book in advance, especially during peak tourist seasons, to ensure availability and secure a spot with a guide who speaks your preferred language.

Yes, the experience can vary with the seasons. The falls are most voluminous during the rainy season (December to March), but trails can be wet and slippery. In the dry season (April to November), the water flow is less, but the trails are generally easier to navigate. It's always good to check the weather forecast and dress appropriately for the conditions.

What Your Iguazú Trip Includes

Every quote we send lists this in writing, trip by trip. As a rule, this is how an Iguazú package is built.

Included

In every package

Hotels selected and checked by our team; private transfers between airports, hotels and excursions; excursions with English-speaking local guides; entrance fees to Iguazú National Park on the Argentine side, and on the Brazilian side where your itinerary includes it; daily breakfast and the meals marked day by day; a local WhatsApp support line for the whole trip.

Not included

Said upfront

International flights to and from Argentina; travel insurance; meals not marked in the itinerary; personal expenses and gratuities; optional activities, which we price in writing beforehand. The Buenos Aires to Puerto Iguazú flight is quoted separately or included depending on the package, and your quote states which, with the amount, so the total is clear before you book.

High water changes the route, not the visit

Iguazú is at its most powerful after rain, and that same water can close the Devil's Throat walkway or the boat under the falls for a day. When it does, we move that section to another day inside your stay and use the lower circuit and the Brazilian panoramic side meanwhile. Wherever the schedule allows, we rebook the highlight inside your trip at no extra cost.

Tell us when you can travel. We will build the route.
