We start from El Calafate to the Parador La Leona (historic site), where we stop for 15 minutes and continue our journey until we reach the slope of Cerro Los Hornos. When we arrived in the forest, we began a 3-hour fossil exploration walk, including lunch time. The visitor will be able to see a large number of petrified trunks and fossil remains of different types of dinosaurs. The site is sheltered from the wind, is very dry and the weather conditions are generally very pleasant. At the end of the walk, we return to Calafate along the same path. Ideal for people who like outdoor activities, adventure and discovering new places
