Itinerary

Arrival at the airport. Upon arrival in Trelew or Puerto Madryn, our guide will pick you up and you will be accompanied to the hotel of your choice. Once in the city, we recommend you to stroll along the beautiful beaches, enjoy a sunset from the monument to the Tehuelche Indian. Sometimes, depending on the season, it is possible to see the first whales from the coast in the city.

Breakfast at the hotel. This day we leave early for an excursion to visit the Valdés Peninsula, to see its beaches and cliffs where the main viewpoints and panoramic points for the observation of marine fauna are located and from where the first whales, sea lions and elephant seals can be seen. Depending on the time of the year, you can visit Punta Norte, from where you can watch orcas, which come to the peninsula to eat during the summer. Once in Puerto Piramides, we will visit this small fishing port and between October and December, it is there where we will embark for the Southern Right Whale watching trip. Return to the hotel in the afternoon. * From January 2nd to September 30th the navigation is not included as it is not the Southern Right Whale watching season *.

Breakfast at the hotel. In this new excursion we will travel to the southern area of Puerto Madryn to visit the most important penguin reserve in Patagonia Argentina. Arriving at Punta Tombo we will start to see a huge population of Magellanic Penguins and we will be able to walk among their nests to meet them and see their behavior up close. Depending on the time of the year, we will be able to see the pairs with their young or preparing everything for their arrival, as well as, by the end of the summer, observe how they are changing their plumage to get ready to go back to the sea. During the day we will also take a walk through the city of Trelew and the Welsh village of Gaiman, where you can visit the typical Welsh tea houses. Return to Puerto Madryn in the afternoon.

Breakfast at the hotel. This day is free to continue exploring Puerto Madryn and its surroundings. We recommend extending this trip to visit El Doradillo Beach, take a bike ride, snorkel in the crystal clear waters of Valdes Bay and much more. Depending on your flight schedule, our guide will pick you up from your hotel and accompany you to the airport. This trip can be combined with any other destination in Argentina, do not hesitate to ask for an extension.
