Upon arrival at the airport, our guide will meet you and accompany you to your hotel in Puerto Iguazú. Free day for activities in the city. We recommend visiting the historic center and the Hito Tres Fronteras from where you can see the coast of Paraguay and Brazil and take the time to stroll around this picturesque city.
This day we will visit the Iguazu National Park Waterfalls on the Argentinean side, considered one of the Wonders of the World. This tour leaves all visitors in awe, regardless of age or interests. We will visit the Devil's Throat, Upper Circuit and Lower Circuit circuits, which have a system of footbridges that allow us to appreciate the different falls from different perspectives. In the Iguazu National Park, you can also enjoy the Great Adventure: A 5km ride in an all-terrain vehicle through the jungle to get in touch with nature from the inside. Once we arrive at Puerto Macuco, we will board the boats that we will use to go up the Iguazú River for 6km, until we feel the waterfall of Salto San Martín, one of the most beautiful of the whole system of waterfalls, on our body.
In the morning we will go on an excursion to the Brazilian side of the falls to experience a unique walk in the rainforest of the Iguaçu National Park. During this 2km walk, you will get to know and observe all the native flora and fauna of the park, as well as learn about the different conservation actions that are being carried out in the park. We invite you to continue enjoying Argentina, combining this itinerary with any other in the rest of the country and continue learning more about Argentina's nature and culture. According to your itinerary, our guide will accompany you to the airport so you can continue your trip.
This tour offers a thrilling adventure in Iguazu National Parks on both the Argentine and Brazilian sides. Highlights include exploring the awe-inspiring Iguazu Falls, experiencing the Great Adventure tour with a boat ride under the waterfalls, and taking part in a Macuco Jungle Excursion where you’ll encounter native flora and fauna. Each activity is designed to immerse you in the natural beauty and unique wildlife of the Missionary Jungle.
This itinerary involves some physical activity, such as walking on trails, jungle excursions, and the Great Adventure boat ride, which includes a bit of turbulence near the falls. While most of the walks are on well-maintained paths, we recommend that participants be reasonably fit to fully enjoy the experience. If you have specific concerns, please let us know so we can assess suitable adjustments.
Only breakfast is included at your hotel in Puerto Iguazú. Lunches and dinners are not covered, allowing you the flexibility to explore local dining options in Puerto Iguazú and near the park entrances. Our guides can recommend options for local cuisine upon request.
Iguazu Falls can be visited year-round, but seasonal changes can influence your experience. The falls have higher water flow from December to March, which creates a dramatic view but with more humidity. From June to September, the weather is drier and cooler, making it easier to walk around, though water levels might be lower.
