Day 4Buenos Aires: Pampas day visit

This experience will include visits to a historical rural town and a silversmith museum, a visit to a ranch, plenty of food and wine, dancing, horseback riding, and a gaucho horse skills display.

Travelers will dive into a completely different world on the way to San Antonio de Areco, a small town dating back to 1730, known as “the cradle of culture and tradition” in Argentina.

Upon arrival in Areco, we will visit the Draghi museum, a family-run establishment showcasing some of the best silversmiths in the world. Afterward, we will head to El Ombú ranch, where we will be warmly greeted by the gauchos and served welcome drinks along with some of the best 'empanadas' (local pasties) you will ever taste. We strongly recommend coming hungry, as lunch will feature a real Argentinean meat feast, with the national dish: asado.

To wrap up this wonderful and authentic Argentine experience, one of the gauchos will treat us to a demonstration of how he tames his horse, showcasing the deep confidence and connection they share in an unconventional horse whispering performance.

At lunchtime, we will stop in Tigre, a major city in Buenos Aires' suburbs, where we will enjoy an authentic snack, including "empanadas" (local pasties) and drinks, at a beautiful historical venue belonging to the Italian Rowing Club of Tigre City.

For the rest of the tour, we will board a comfortable vehicle to drive through the northern suburbs of Buenos Aires, offering a glimpse of life in the outskirts of Argentina’s capital.
