Upon arriving in Bariloche, you’ll be welcomed and transferred to your accommodation, then taken to a mate tasting experience where you’ll learn about this cherished Argentine tradition. A local expert will guide you through the history, preparation, and rituals of mate, offering you a taste of the culture as you enjoy the flavors of Argentina’s iconic drink.

This active excursion goes along the classic circuit of San Carlos de Bariloche and combine with an authentic foodie experience hosted by the local Chef Lucas Mallmann.
The guide will explain how this little mountain village has get to be one of the most attractive towns in Patagonia, and the Adventure Tourism Capital. While visiting stunning viewpoints of the area, such as Campanario Hill and Llao-Llao Peninsula, we ́ll get amazing panoramic views of Moreno and Nahuel Huapi lakes, as well as Capilla and Lopez mountains.
Away from the noise of the city, Lucas will be waiting you on his family’s farm located on the remote San Pedro Peninsula, to participate of his traditional “cocina de fuegos”. With a good wine on hands you will taste fresh products like patagonian trout with vegetables and other argentinian meats. All of them will be roasted on his simple and rustic way of cooking in which the fire and the cast iron plate will give to the food its particular character. Even the dessert will participate of this simple combination of elements. The result will be an authentic experience of fire and flavours.

The proposal is to share the passion for this traditional product of Bariloche in a different activity to enjoy with friends, family or in a group. VanWynsberghe or "La Chocolaterie" offers you the opportunity to enjoy a special moment, a sensory journey through flavors and aromas, to learn and love even more the special world of chocolate within the framework of Argentine Patagonia.
The guide will pick up you at the hotel and go to the factory located at Km 15.5 of Av. Bustillo. The experience can also be organized outdoors, on board a boat or lounge where the passengers are staying.
A chocolate tasting is an original and participatory activity. Includes an introductory talk to the world of chocolate with material for all participants. We will know the fruit with the types of cocoa beans, and the different world production areas. We will explain the harvest with sustainable production in different countries of the world and then taste those chocolates of origin to learn about the varieties of aromas and flavors.
At the end of the experience, we will take you to the local airport.
