Upon your arrival at the Iguazu airport, the local guide will be waiting for you to visit the sanctuary animal center. The wildlife shelter GüiráOga ("the house of birds" in the Guarani language) was born out of the necessity to have an establishment located in the same Misiones jungle and working with the native fauna of the area. It was founded on August 23, 1997, by Jorge Anfuso and Silvia Elsegood, naturalists and specialists in the rehabilitation of birds of prey, current directors of the shelter. At the end of the day you will de driven to your selected hotel. Included: Private transportation, local guide assistance, Güirá Oga sanctuary entrance. Optional: For more adventure chose a private bike tour in the afernoon to discover the sounds of the nature or a visit to the Guaranies.
