Itinerary

<span>Day 1</span>Welcome to Buenos Aires!

Upon your arrival at Ezeiza International Airport, our Argentina Pura guide will be waiting for you with a sign under your name to transfer you to the selected hotel (Driver and guide - private service).
 
During your day off in Buenos Aires, don't miss the charm of San Telmo, its cobblestone streets and vintage shops. Then, have a coffee at “El Ateneo”, one of the most impressive bookstores in the world. Buenos Aires has a unique rhythm that will captivate you!

<span>Day 2</span>Buenos Aires Food exploration

After breakfast in the morning, we will discover the Broadway of Buenos Aires! We will explore Corrientes Avenue, one of the city’s most iconic streets, famous for its theatres and pizza shops.

We will taste delicious pizza and beer and indulge in mouth-watering Argentine ice cream during this 2-hour walking tour. In the afternoon, we will dive into Buenos Aires’ immigration history through Italian culinary heritage.

Together, we will make empanadas, Argentina’s most popular street food, and prepare to host an Argentine-themed dinner party. We will also learn to bake alfajores, soft and delicious sandwich cookies filled with dulce de leche—a fun and tasty activity for the whole family.

<span>Day 3</span>Buenos Aires Pampas day (Full Day)

We will explore the countryside of Buenos Aires and immerse ourselves in gaucho culture and ranch life on the Pampas during an exciting full-day tour. The experience includes visits to a historical rural town, a silversmith museum, and a ranch, with plenty of food, wine, dancing, horseback riding, and gaucho horse skill displays.

On the way to San Antonio de Areco, a charming town dating back to 1730 and known as “the cradle of culture and tradition” in Argentina, we will step into a completely different world. Once in Areco, we will visit the Draghi Museum, a family-run establishment showcasing some of the finest silversmiths in the world.

At El Ombú ranch, we will be warmly welcomed by the gauchos with drinks and some of the best empanadas you’ll ever taste. Come hungry! Lunch will feature a traditional Argentine meat feast with asado, the national dish.

To end the day, one of the gauchos will amaze us with a horse whispering demonstration, showcasing the deep bond between horse and rider.

<span>Day 4</span>Buenos Aires – El Calafate

At the time of departure, according to your air itinerary, we will pick you up at the hotel to take you to Jorge Newbery Airport in the City of Buenos Aires to take your next flight.

It is a half-day excursion, in which you travel in 4×4 vehicles through the cliff sector of Lake Argentino, within the 25 de Mayo nature reserve. This activity offers a historical focus on the passage and contact of the first explorers with the Tehuelches. Ideal to do on the day of arrival or departure.

We will depart from El Calafate on an exciting 4×4 journey along the shores of Lake Argentino and will culminate in the cliff sector in front of it from where you can see the Andes and get magnificent views of the environment.

We will continue our journey to Punta Walichu (archaeological site) where, through a walking tour of approximately 500 m, we will observe and interpret together with the guide the cave paintings that we will see on the rocks and the different techniques that were used to make them.

Finally, we will arrive at one of the caves that is located inside this archaeological area, with breathtaking views of Lake Argentino, we will enjoy a unique lunch/dinner in a natural environment that transports us back thousands of years. After the meal, we will return to our hotel in Calafate.

<span>Day 5</span>El Calafate: Navigation & trek (Full Day)

We will depart from El Calafate to Puerto Punta Bandera, where the navigation begins until reaching Seno Mayo, to disembark in Toro Bay and take an interpretive walk in the Patagonian Andean Forest.

Then we continue sailing through the Seno Mayo of Lake Argentino to observe the Glaciers of Cerro Mayo and the hanging Glacier of Cerro Negro where we disembark and begin a walk inside the Forest to the stone wall from where we will observe the Hanging Glacier with 360º views of a landscape that will leave us amazed.

Then we continue sailing until we reach Gl. Perito Moreno, where we will contemplate the north wall from the boat, and then disembark on walkways and walk them for an hour and a half. Finally, we embark again to return to the Port of Punta Bandera and then to Calafate.

<span>Day 6</span>El Calafate - Bariloche

At the appropriate time you will be taken to El Calafate Airport (regular service - driver only).
 
Upon arrival at the local Bariloche airport, your local guide will be waiting for you to accompany you to the selected hotel located between Km3 and Km12 (Private service - driver and guide).
 
Overnight in Bariloche: Kenton Palace, Cacique Inacayal hotel, Alma del Lago Suites & Spa (or similar).
Meals included: Breakfast.

<span>Day 7</span>History & nature + canopy (Half Day)

While visiting stunning viewpoints of the area, such as Campanario Hill and Llao-Llao Hotel, we ́ll enjoy the beauty of Moreno and Nahuel Huapi lakes, as well as Lopez and Capilla mountains.
 
Continued, we ́ll go for a nature oriented walk through the Llao-llao Nature Park to discover to discover an impressive forest of Arrayanes trees. Then we ́ll go to the base of López Hill, to begin the Canopy activity.
 
We ́ll go up in a 4x4 vehicle and start touring the circuit of 1500 meters in total, one of the longest in South America. Is to rediscover nature feeling the incredible sensation of flying through the forest, contemplating amazing landscapes that would be impossible to appreciate from the plain. The tour finish with a visit to a local microbrewery for lunch, with Beer Tasting.
 
Overnight in Bariloche.

<span>Day 8</span>Bariloche: Enchanted Valley (Full Day)

Valle Encantado has an outstanding landscape that combines amazing rock formations with an impressive blue river.
 
We ́ll drive 80 kilometers towards NE direction and cross Limay River on boat, so as to start exploring the Enchanted Valley, walking among big walls and volcanic rock caves, enjoying beautiful views, hidden on this secret corner of Patagonia.
 
Lunch takes place surrounded by this stunning landscape, perfect to relax, breath and contemplate the nature of Patagonia.
 
Overnight in Bariloche.
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch.

<span>Day 9</span>Bariloche - Buenos Aires

At a certain time, we will pick you up at the selected hotel and take you to the local airport of Bariloche (Private car service - driver only).
Upon arrival at the local Jorge Newbery Airport (Aeroparc), your driver will be waiting for you with a sign in your name to take you to the selected hotel (Driver only - private service).
Overnight in Buenos Aires.

<span>Day 10</span>Good Bye Argentina!

At appropriate time, we will pick you up and transfered you to Buenos Aires Ezeiza International airport for your international flight.  Adiós Argentina! (Driver only - private service).
