In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel by your local guide to explore the South part of the city. We will discover the rich history, the parks, the local atmosphere and historic sites, such as Plaza de Mayo, where the city's history and politics have converged for centuries, the colorful streets of La Boca and the famous Caminito, a pedestrian street filled with art and tango performances. During the late 19th and early 20th centuries, La Boca experienced significant waves of European immigration that profoundly shaped the neighborhood's cultural identity. These immigrants came primarily from Italy and Spain, and Europe. All that mix of different cultures made La Boca a special place with a one-of-a-kind identity. We will also explore the vibrant San Telmo and its boutique cafes, where you can find unique crafts and antiques (Only available on Sundays). Also, we will visit and take a guided walk through Teatro Colón, an iconic site in Buenos Aires that is consistently rated one of the best Opera houses in the world. We will also learn about the local customs and traditions, meanwhile we visit some of the best spots to try Argentinean food “al paso” and be like a local.
