Arrival in Mendoza. Reception at the Airport/Bus Terminal and transfer to the selected hotel. We recommend that you enjoy the Spa and other services in your chosen accommodation. In the evening you will enjoy a wonderful welcome dinner in one of Mendoza's best-known wineries with a unique gastronomic proposal.
Valle de Uco is located 115 km from the city of Mendoza. A combination of high-altitude soils (900 to 1300 meters above sea level), alluvial soils, low rainfall (more than 250 sunny days a year) and thermal amplitude, make grape cultivation the first activity in the region. We immersed ourselves in the heart of this vast region. Accompanied by specialized guides, we visit the most renowned wineries and vineyards. Walking through its facilities we will be surprised by the different ways of making wine in each place. We will also learn the secrets of this particular “terroir” and step by step how to taste a good glass of wine. Enjoy a gourmet lunch accompanied by the best wines of the region, surrounded by a beautiful setting with wonderful views of the Andes.
In the morning we will travel southwest for approximately 1:45 hours to reach La Quebrada del Condor (Canyon del Condor) in Potrerillos. This tour offers a 2/4 hour horseback ride through the different mountain trails formed by native animals and people who live in small settlements in the nearby mountains. It is our gauchos, locally called “baqueanos”, who are incredible riders. We will ride on horseback to enjoy the spectacular and natural environment of the Andes Mountains while learning about the region's nature, geology, traditions and history. Back at the Rancho we will enjoy a delicious barbecue that we will share with the local family. Return to Mendoza at night.
According to the departure time of the flight or bus, transfer to the Airport/Bus Terminal.
