Tinogasta

It is a city in the west of Catamarca, capital of the department of the same name. It is located 271 km away from San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca and at an altitude of 1500 metres above sea level. Its name comes from the Cacán language and means "meeting or gathering of the people". The climate of Tinogasta is arid, very dry with large thermal amplitudes between day and night.

Las Termas de Fiambalá: Fiambalá en la lengua de los pueblos originarios significa “agua que penetra en la montaña”. Es una pequeña ciudad con microclima que se encuentra muy cerca de Tinogasta. Este lugar supo servir medicinalmente a pueblos originarios. Su gran valor son las termas que están indicadas por médicos de Catamarca por su poder curativo y medicinal. El agua posee temperaturas que van de los 38º C hasta los 70º C.

Ruta de los Seismiles: maravilloso lugar para disfrutar de espectaculares paisajes y donde se pueden ver volcanes de 6000 metros de altura.

Museo Tulio Robaudi: un museo chiquito, pero con mucha historia. La entrada es a colaboración. Se encuentra muy cerca de la ciudad.

Plaza 25 de Mayo: el punto de reunión de los habitantes. Se puede disfrutar mucho de este espacio verde y su tranquilidad.

Parroquia San Juan Bautista: ubicada frente a la plaza principal de Tinogasta.

Mayorazgo De Anillaco: forma parte de la Ruta del Adobe.

Paseo Héroes de Malvinas: paseo dedicado a las personas que perdieron su vida en la Guerra de Malvinas, es un lugar pequeño y muy emotivo.
