Itinerary

Day 1Buenos Aires - Colonia

Today you will be picked up at your accommodation in the morning and taken to the ferry terminal to embark on the approximately 1-hour ferry ride to Colonia, Uruguay. Upon arrival, a guided exploration of the Old City will begin. Colonia del Sacramento, the oldest city in the country, recently declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

The past can still be felt in the cobblestone streets and stone walls of the city. Cologne complements its archaeological values with its natural beauty.

Along the way, you'll appreciate the region's fertile fields, ideal for agricultural and livestock production. After acquiring a little more knowledge about the rich history of this region, we will visit Narbona Lodge to do a wine and cheese tasting at the winery and try the famous local Tannat grape variety.

During the wine tasting at Narbona Lodge, you’ll enjoy a selection that includes the crisp Narbonne Sauvignon Blanc, the fruity Narbonne Tannat Rosé, and the rich Narbonne Pinot Noir. Also, savor the harmonious Narbonne Blend and the bold Narbonne Tannat Moonlight, all paired with delicious tapas prepared by our chef.

At the end of this experience, you will be transferred to the port to take the ferry back to Buenos Aires.

Included: round-trip ticket by Buquebus from Buenos Aires to the local port of Colonia. (Shared service - tour class).
