What to do in Puerto Madero

Since its street names pay homage to famous women from Argentina’s history, one of the most iconic places to visit in Puerto Madero is the Puente de la Mujer, an impressive pedestrian bridge designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. It is the perfect place to contemplate the view of the river and the city. Therefore, one of the things to experience is to cross this beautiful bridge with a breathtaking panoramic view.
Another activity you can do is to visit the Sarmiento Frigate. It is located next to the Puente de la Mujer, it is a ship built in England that was the first training ship of Argentina. Besides being a tourist attraction on the outside, it has a floating museum inside.

On the other hand, in Puerto Madero you can enjoy a dinner on the banks of the dam in one of the many restaurants. Also, you can cycle or walk along the Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve and connect with nature and contemplate amazing landscapes at a very short distance from the city.
