At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel and head to Cerro Castillo, in the Torres del Paine district, where you will enjoy an authentic Patagonian ranch experience alongside a family that has dedicated generations to sheep and cattle farming.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the Cárdenas Rodríguez family, who will share their traditions, knowledge, and way of life as Patagonian shepherds. During the visit, you will witness a sheepdog demonstration, observing how these skilled dogs work alongside shepherds to manage flocks across the vast estancia landscapes.
The experience continues with the Wool Tour, an activity that offers an up-close look at traditional ranching practices. You will learn about sheep handling, watch a sheep-shearing demonstration, and visit the spinning workshop, where you will discover the different stages of artisanal wool processing, from washing the fleece to transforming it into textile products.
Before lunch, you will enjoy an appetizer while taking in the rural scenery of Cerro Castillo. Afterwards, you will share a traditional Patagonian criollo lunch featuring lamb, potatoes, salad, pebre, and wine, a perfect opportunity to savor some of the region's most representative flavors.
At the end of the experience, we will return to Puerto Natales and drop you off at your hotel.
