El interminable mundo blanco de las Salinas Grandes es el centro de esta excursión, que comienza en Salta y toma la Ruta Nacional 9 hasta Purmamarca después de tomar la RN 52.
El Cerro de los Siete Colores, la iglesia de Santa Rosa de Lima (cuyos orígenes se remontan a 1648) y el colorido mercado artesanal de la plaza central son los atractivos más importantes del pueblo. Tras recorrerlos, partimos hacia Las Salinas por la Cuesta de Lipán, una serpenteante carretera asfaltada que alcanza los 4.170 metros sobre el nivel del mar en la zona del Alto El Morado. Desde aquí se desciende a la Puna, una larga planicie elevada situada a unos 3500 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
The Salinas Grandes, which were recently included among the Seven Natural Wonders of Argentina, constitute a place of singular beauty, with their immaculately white surface that contrasts with the intense blue sky. There you can observe the salt extraction process and also the work of local artisans who make sculptures with the same material. After lunch in Purmamarca, you return to Salta along the ledge, the route that passes through a dense sector of yungas dotted with some reservoirs.

Embárquese en un viaje por La Quebrada, un lugar declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad, donde los impresionantes paisajes y colores de las colinas se combinan con las culturas igualmente coloridas que habitan esta zona. Este viaje es una oportunidad para experimentar el contacto social y sumergirse en el patrimonio ancestral. El recorrido comienza con la llegada a la localidad de Purmamarca para admirar el majestuoso Cerro de los Siete Colores.
Then, we will continue to the town of Tilcara. Afterwards, the tour will continue to Huacalera, where you will cross the Tropic of Capricorn pass and you can see the impressive Cerro de la Pollera de la Colla. We will visit the Church of Uquía, where there are the paintings of the Arcabuceran Angels, an important work of art of the Cuzco school in the region. The tour will end in Humahuaca, where you can see the majestic Cathedral and the Monument to Independence (El Indio) by the sculptor Soto Avenaño. After lunch, you will return to the starting point while watching the impressive Painter's Palette that frames the town of Maimará. This tour lasts a full day and is available every day.
