To the south is the paradisiacal nature reserve Laguna del Diamante, home to the majestic Maipo Volcano and reflected in the lagoon, one of Mendoza’s most famous postcards.
Another essential place to visit is the Mirador del Plata, from where you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the valley. There are also several horseback rides and photographic safaris.
