Routebeschrijving

We will depart from San Pedro de Atacama by minibus to Customs and Migration, heading to the Bolivian border at Hito Cajón. After crossing the Chile-Bolivia border, we will complete entry procedures and transfer to a 4×4 jeep for the journey.

We will visit Laguna Blanca, Laguna Verde, the Salvador Dalí Desert, Polques hot springs, the Sol de Mañana geysers, and Laguna Colorada. Lunch will be enjoyed in Polques or at our lodging in Huayllajara, depending on the time of arrival.

In the evening, we will have dinner at the hostel in Huayllajara or Villa Mar, staying in private rooms with private bathrooms and hot showers.

We will start the day with breakfast before visiting the Stone Tree and exploring the Siloli Desert, followed by the Altiplanic Lagoons: Honda, Chiarcota, and Hedionda. Lunch will be served along the way.

Next, we will head to the Ollague Volcano viewpoint, Rock Valley, the San Agustín Julaca train station, and finally Colchak.

In the evening, we will stay at Villa Martín Salt Hotel or Tambo Loma Salt Hotel, where double and twin rooms with private bathrooms and hot showers await us. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

We will begin the day with a sunrise observation at the Uyuni Salt Flats, followed by a visit to Huasi Inca Island and the Cactus Valley. After breakfast, we will enjoy a hike above the horizon and explore the Salt Museum.

Next, we will visit Colchani Town and the Train Cemetery before having lunch. In the afternoon, we will arrive in Uyuni at approximately 4:00 PM.

Afterward, we will return to Villa Mar with a transfer from Uyuni, a journey of about three hours. Overnight accommodation will be in private rooms with private bathrooms and hot showers at a local hostel.
