Puerto Madryn Wildlife Avontuur | 4 Daagse Trip

You will visit one of the sites chosen as Natural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, which, due to its unique characteristics, houses a variety of marine and terrestrial fauna rarely seen in one place.

We will come looking for you very early to start discovering the natural reserves and the most outstanding tourist attractions of the Valdés Peninsula Protected Natural Area, among them are: the Ameghino Isthmus Interpretation Center, Puerto Pirámides, from where whale watching sailings take place (from June to December); then you can see from the way the Salinas Chica y Grande or El Gran Salitral; which are among the largest depressions in America; the coastal settlement of marine elephants in Punta Delgada and Punta Cantor; and penguins in Caleta Valdés.

On the tour we will have the chance to see a lot of terrestrial fauna such as guanacos, gangs, foxes, armadillos and choiques. Throughout the day you will be advised by our guides, expert interpreters of Patagonian nature.

Whale watching boat navigation included. Then the boat moves away from the coast, the engines stop and for a moment there is a silence cut only by the mixed sounds of seagulls, seagulls and cormorants. It's a moment of waiting... Someone observes a large concentration of birds in the distance. The boat approaches and suddenly, when the whole group is attentive, something silver and white emerges next to the ship, and the loud sound of a body moving on the surface of the sea is heard.

This proposal consists of living half a day of adventure in the Punta Loma Protected Natural Area, Colony of permanent residence and reproduction of the Sea Lions from a hair, where we will enjoy many panoramic views ideal for those who they like nature. If weather conditions are favorable, we will paddle approximately 1 hour in kayaks very stable cruise-type doubles to enjoy the best views of beaches, "serif"cliffs and the immensity of the New Gulf.

Departing from Playa El Pozo, distant 12 KM south of Puerto Madryn, we will make a presentation of the Guide Staff and the activity to be carried out with a technical talk on the use of the equipment and some necessary tips during navigation. Upon arrival at the Sea Lion Colony (Otaria Flavescens), after 20 minutes of navigation, we will approach the coast up to a safe distance for them with the objective of interpreting the place without stressing them out, hoping that they will interact with us from spontaneously.

Participants will be able to experiment through low-demand physical activity, los   ecosystems of the Patagonian Steppe, the sea and the coast, interpreting the life of Lions  Marines, Cormorants, Seagulls, Seagulls and Petrels. Total duration: 4.30 hours.
