We'll start our experience from your hotel, exploring the desert's enchanting hues, including the grand Piedras Rojas Lookout, the stunning mountain lagoons of Miscanti and Miñiques, and the expansive Salar de Atacama within the Los Flamencos National Reserve and Laguna Chaxa.
The journey commences at the impressive Piedras Rojas Lookout, showcasing a captivating reddish landscape due to iron oxidation. Continuing, we'll venture to the Altiplano to discover the Miscanti and Miñiques lagoons, nestled over 4,200 meters above sea level, surrounded by towering volcanoes and rich birdlife.
Our route proceeds to Laguna Chaxa, home to a diverse array of flamingos and other avian species, set amidst captivating water mirrors. Before our return, we'll relish panoramic vistas of the Licancabur and Láscar volcanoes and explore Toconao, renowned for its colonial architecture, including the bell tower and Church of San Lucas, designated a National Monument.
Following this visit, we'll commence our journey back to San Pedro de Atacama.

We beginnen onze ervaring vanuit je hotel om een van 's werelds belangrijkste geothermische velden te verkennen en een interessant typisch dorp van de regio te bezoeken.
We gaan naar de Tatio Geysers, het grootste geiserveld op het zuidelijk halfrond, waar we genieten van een prachtige zonsopgang en een verfrissend ontbijt omringd door de schoonheid van de Andes.
We bezoeken de Rustic Hot Spring, waar we kunnen genieten van het uitstekende thermale water dat de bergen ons bieden. Daarna stoppen we in Machuca, een dorp van adobe huizen (een mix van stro en modder), rieten daken en cactushout, gewijd aan het toerisme, waar lokale producten worden aangeboden zoals ambachtelijke producten uit de Andes, lama vlees, sopaipillas en empanadas.
We bezoeken de kerk van San Santiago, de beschermheilige van de stad, voordat we terugkeren naar het hotel in San Pedro.
