Central Andes & The Wine Country

Cuyo is a region located in the center-west of Argentina, encompassing the provinces of San Juan, Mendoza, and San Luis. The region is known for its high altitude vineyards, producing some of the country’s most famous wines, including Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon. The landscape of Cuyo is dominated by the towering Andes mountain range, which provides a dramatic backdrop for the vineyards, as well as opportunities for hiking and mountaineering. The region is also home to several important national parks, including Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Western Hemisphere.
