This trip to Puerto Varas combines nature, history and culture in Chile’s enchanting southern lakes region. Beginning with arrival in Puerto Montt, the itinerary includes visits to the iconic Osorno Volcano, with panoramic views of the volcanoes and ocean, and tours of the picturesque towns of Llanquihue and Frutillar, known for their German architecture and dreamy landscapes.
Upon your arrival at Puerto Montt airport, our local representative will be waiting for you to take you to the selected hotel in Puerto Varas (Semi-private service, driver only in Spanish).

We will start our Experience from your hotel in Puerto Varas to discover the impressive Osorno Volcano, an icon of this beautiful region of southern Chile. We will border Lake Llanquihue enjoying incredible views of the snowy volcanoes of Osorno and Calbuco and we will arrive at the Ensenada sector to begin the ascent to the Osorno Volcano Ski and Mountain Center, located at 1,240 meters above sea level.
Here we can enjoy the landscape, take photographs and appreciate unparalleled panoramic views both of the summit of the volcanoes with their eternal snow glaciers and of Calbuco, Lake Llanquihue and the Pacific Ocean.
We will have free time to enjoy a hot chocolate, a coffee or a delicious pisco sour in the cafeteria of the ski center and to rest surrounded by this magical environment, and then we will return to the hotel in Puerto Varas.

In this Experience we will visit the cities of Llanquihue and Frutillar, admiring their beautiful old houses of German architecture and their beautiful gardens and enjoying fantastic views of the Osorno and Puntiagudo volcanoes.
We will start our Experience from your hotel in Puerto Varas to tour Llanquihue and Frutillar, beautiful cities in southern Chile that stand out both for their German architecture and influence and for their wonderful landscapes.
We will start in Llanquihue, a place famous for its jerky and for being part of the old Settlers Route, and there we will visit the Monument to the German Settlers. We will then head to Frutillar, a beautiful city reminiscent of Bavaria, where its first inhabitants come from, and we will walk around its beautiful old German-style houses.
We will go to the waterfront where we can observe the Teatro del Lago, where the famous “Frutillar Musical Weeks” are held annually; the architectural design of the theater's façade emulates the sheds with tile coverings typical of the architecture of the area built by German immigrants from the region. Finally, we will return to the hotel in Puerto Varas.
